I was born in 1984 in Moscow and graduated from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory with a postgraduate degree in 2012, under the guidance of Olga Ivusheikova in the flute class. In 2007, I became a member of the Fondazione Marco Fodella in Milan, where I studied traverso flute with Marcello Gatti at Scuola Civica di Milano. I also worked on contemporary music repertoire with Claudio Santambrogio (Conservatorio di Verdi in Milano) and Harrie Starreveld (Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam). Together with pianist Natalia Cherkasova, I have performed numerous Russian and world premieres of contemporary music repertoire. From 2004 to 2006, I was a soloist with the «Studio for New Music». From 2006 to 2022, I was a soloist and conductor for the Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble, and from 2010 to 2022, I taught as a professor in the flute class at the International Academy of Young Composers in Tchaikovsky city. I have been recognized as a laureate in the contemporary chamber music competition in Krakow and the historical performance competition “A Trè” in Trossingen. I am also a member of the multi-art project “Platform”, created by Kirill Serebrennikov. I've had the honor of being an invited teacher at the «Gnesin Summer School» and in the «Practikum» of contemporary music by MCME. I authored the project «Nine postcards» alongside Olga Borozdina, featuring music by Hiroshi Yoshimura. In 2013, I launched my electronic music project «nerest», releasing four albums through various Russian labels. Between 2016 and 2022, I taught flute at the Music University named after M.M. Ippolitov-Ivanov. In 2018, I initiated a project focused on field recordings called «zvukasreda» with Yulia Glukhova, which evolved into a collective for improvised music. I am also a member of the Moscow Scratch Orchestra, formed with Dmitry Vlasik, and participated in the reconstruction of an orchestra without a conductor called «Persimfans». Since 2013, I've been a guest soloist with the Musica Eterna orchestra, directed by Teodor Currentzis. Throughout my performing career, I've worked on composing music. My compositions include music for theatrical performances and chamber music. In 2022, I created the installation «I campi dei ricordi» for the VAC foundation. In 2023, I began working at Arzamas as a composer, sound designer, and sound editor, crafting music for audiobooks, podcasts, and lectures. I also started working with the VAC foundation as a post-production mastering engineer. I am the winner of the 1st international composer competition named after Tigran Mansuryan. In cooperation with Yulia Glukhova, in 2025 we opened bar zahlen studio where we put our energy into sound design and music composition, we meet the standards of professional mixing & mastering and we are willing to experiment.
